Babies are fascinated with black and white designs. Right from the start, our cards begin to aid in a baby's cognitive and visual perception because, with developing vision, they are able to see the high contrast pictures. Babies love our Art Cards — from day one they can grab the attention of a newborn. These cards grow with your child as the shapes come together to form patterns, whole images, inspire tummy time activities, and later become flash cards of their animal pals.

Our hand illustrated nature themed Art Cards for Baby are the perfect way to start teaching kids a love for art, design, and the natural world. Each card is two sided with a white on black side and a black on white side, for a unique visual experience with the simple flip of a card.

The six adorable animals in this set include a Penguin, Orca, Lemur, Skunk, Panda and Zebra. Each card measures 5"x7" inches and is printed using environmentally-friendly soy based ink on thick and sturdy cardboard with kid friendly rounded corners. They feature a matte finish surface that can be wiped clean with a lightly dampened cloth and dried.

The high-contrast designs hold my little one’s attention for a solid ten minutes during tummy time, which feels like forever at this age. I love that I can prop them up around the play mat and switch positions to keep things fresh. Definitely a staple in our daily routine now.

The high-contrast patterns really do grab my baby's attention during tummy time, way more than the colorful books we have. I just wish the cards were a bit thicker since my six-month-old wants to grab and crumple them already.

Leo ★★★★☆

My three-month-old actually tracks the black and white patterns with her eyes, which I wasn't expecting this early. The cards are sturdy but a bit large for tiny hands to grab. Still, they've become part of our morning playtime.
