My 18-month-old figured out the stacking on her own because the rings are chunky enough for little hands to grip. The bear shape makes it cute enough to leave out on the shelf instead of hiding it in the toy bin.

The natural wood finish looks lovely on our shelf, and the rings are smooth enough that I don't worry about splinters. My toddler ignores the stacking part and just chews the bear's ears, but honestly that's fine by me.

My 18-month-old has been stacking these rings for a week straight and still isn't bored, which says a lot. The bear shape is what sold me, and the pieces fit smoothly on the post without wobbling. Even my older kid keeps stealing it to build little towers.
