Babies are fascinated with black and white designs. Right from the start, our cards begin to aid in a baby's cognitive and visual perception because, with developing vision, they are able to see the high contrast pictures. Babies love our Art Cards — from day one they can grab the attention of a newborn. These cards grow with your child as the shapes come together to form patterns, whole images, inspire tummy time activities, and later become flash cards of their animal pals.

Our hand illustrated nature themed Art Cards for Baby are the perfect way to start teaching kids a love for art, design, and the natural world. Each card is two sided with a white on black side and a black on white side, for a unique visual experience with the simple flip of a card.

The six adorable animals in this set include a Lion, Snake, Parrot, Monkey, Tiger and Bear. Each card measures 5"x7" inches and is printed using environmentally-friendly soy based ink on thick and sturdy cardboard with kid friendly rounded corners. They feature a matte finish surface that can be wiped clean with a lightly dampened cloth and dried.

My 4-month-old locks onto the zebra card every time I hold it up during tummy time, and the contrast really seems to hold his attention longer than his other toys. The cards are sturdy too, so they've survived a few grabs and chews already.

The black and white contrast on these really does the trick — my baby locks onto the elephant card way longer than any of her other toys. They're sturdy too, and I love that the jungle animals give us something to talk about as she gets older.

My newborn actually tracks these jungle cards with her eyes already at three weeks old, which feels amazing to watch. The crisp black and white designs keep her engaged during tummy time longer than anything else I’ve tried.
